The Science Behind Restylane Fillers
Restylane is composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally occurs within our bodies. This synthetic version is molecularly similar to the body’s own HA but is chemically cross-linked to delay breakdown by skin enzymes. The result is a long-lasting gel that attracts and binds water molecules to maintain volume and smooth and firm the skin.
